Sat down with Assaf at Cecconi's DUMBO in Brooklyn, right on the water between the two bridges. Time went by fast. He has spent his career building partnerships for companies that serve small businesses. I have spent mine building the supply chain behind them.

Here is what I believe after more than 10 years of building CJ.
Nobody builds a business alone. Behind every store that makes it, there is someone who helped register the company, someone who built the website, someone who sourced the product, someone who packed the box at 2am in Q4. The entrepreneur gets the credit, and they should. But the road gets shorter when the people who serve them work together.
To everyone who is thinking about starting: you do not need to have it all figured out. You need to start. The tools have never been better, the barriers have never been lower, and there are more people ready to help you than you think.
